Slipform Training
The educational philosophy of "Hands-On Learning" is complemented by a curriculum crafted to optimize practical experience and maximize time spent in the seat.
Stringline Training
The scope of "Hands-On Learning" encompasses every facet of training, ranging from machine operation to stringline mastery.
Stringless Training
Whether it's stringless or stringline, we offer training for your crew on various popular stringless systems, such as Leica, Topcon, and Trimble.
Chuteman Training
Lack of expertise with the chute can be the deciding factor between slipforming 1000 feet in 12 hours versus 1 hour. Avoid the common mistake made by 90% of individuals.
Concrete Finishing
We are firm believers in the idea that instead of merely instructing someone on how to do something, it is more effective to demonstrate the process, and that is precisely what we practice!

EXPERIENCE SUPERIOR TRAINING

Gambini Consulting specializes in hands-on equipment training for companies aiming to educate new employees, enhance existing workforce skills, and assist slipform operators seeking employment in the industry. Since 2010, our commitment has been to deliver practical hands-on equipment training.

Start operating your own machine on day one…

Whether you’re a seasoned operator looking to hone your skills or a newcomer to slipforming, now is the ideal time. The slipforming industry is witnessing a high demand for equipment operators. Secure a job and maintain it! Your potential is limitless, driven only by your choices and dedication. We boast a remarkable 90% success rate among our students. In fact, our open-door policy encourages individuals trained by Gambini Consulting to return and share success stories, leads, and tips with our current students in training.

Operators first

Gambini Consulting prioritizes the operator’s focus on efficient operation. Without the knowledge of proper setup, this can escalate stress and lead to issues during pouring. Gambini Consulting is here to guide you through the process, demonstrating how to set up your machine swiftly—from placing sensors to being lined up and ready to pour within 10 minutes, compared to the average 60-minute setup time.

Operating a slipform paver is not just pushing buttons

Collaborating with your operator, we enhance their proficiency in managing slump, vibrators, and other controls. Our training focuses on teaching them to identify potential pouring errors before they occur, minimizing mistakes and streamlining the workflow for the subsequent crew.

There is more to operating than just the operator

WHAT DO WE COVER WITH OUR TRAINING?

As evident below, our coverage goes beyond what the manufacturer provides in their manuals and training. This is because, for you to achieve success, slipforming involves more than just understanding the machine.

LET US HOW YOU HOW EASY STRINGLINE WAS MEANT TO BE

Achieving an efficient and swift stringline process is easily attainable with proper procedures and organization. We can guide you through these effective methods to eliminate errors in stringline setup that may impact the machine during the pouring process.

STRINGLESS TRAINING, IS STRINGLESS RIGHT FOR YOU?

Stringless technology has arrived and is here to stay, but is it the right fit for your needs? Allow us to demonstrate the proper utilization of stringless systems, highlight the associated benefits, and provide consultancy services tailored to your company’s requirements, ensuring that the investment aligns seamlessly with your objectives.

PROPER BASE PREPARATION IS AKIN TO HAVING A SKILLED CHUTE OPERATOR; IT CAN MAKE THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN POURING 1000 FEET IN A DAY OR ACHIEVING THAT SAME FEAT IN JUST AN HOUR.

Everyone can do base right? Allow us to halt you there, as this is the one challenge universally shared among all companies, primarily due to lack of proper training and education. Don’t find yourself stuck in the dirt—let us ensure this isn’t a challenge for your company and operator.

THE CONTROLS CAN BE OVER WHELMING, LET US SHOW YOU THEY ARE NOT

When navigating in a straight line, most people can manage it with some training, utilizing just a few buttons intermittently. However, when entering a parking lot, it becomes crucial to know the specific buttons and their functions; otherwise, it can extend your day by over an hour. We address this issue by providing comprehensive training on this problem on the very first day.

THE AVERAGE SETUP IS 1 HOUR, LET US SHOW YOU HOW TO DO IT IN 10 MINUTES

What distinguishes our operators from others is our remarkable setup speed. Many often ponder how we achieve such rapidity, and the secrets lie within our training course. The challenge arises from the multitude of ways and machine options available for setup, causing operators to make errors due to the overwhelming array of choices. Our training effectively addresses and corrects these issues.

VIBRATOR SETUP CAN MAKE OR BREAK YOUR DAY

Vibrator setup is frequently neglected by operators due to inadequate training. However, much like base and slump control, this can significantly impact the pouring speed—ranging from 8 feet per minute to 35 feet per minute—if not configured correctly. Most importantly, it can be the deciding factor between achieving a smooth, glass-like product or a rough, rippled one with numerous imperfections.

AN INEXPERIENCED CHUTE MAN CAN ADD HOURS TO YOUR DAY, DON’T MAKE THAT MISTAKE

Many companies assign the most inexperienced crew member to the chute and then wonder why it took the entire day to pour 500 feet in a parking lot.

Avoid this mistake!

The chuteman plays one of the most crucial roles on the crew, and with a properly trained chuteman, pouring 500 feet in a parking lot can be accomplished in no more than 1-2 hours. Not to mention, your operator will be much less stressed out and can focus on what matters—the product.

Are you stopping to add water every few minutes or struggling with an inconsistant slump? That could be a thing of the past for you!

Ensuring proper slump control is crucial for achieving a consistent finish behind the machine. However, interrupting the process every few minutes to add water poses risks, consumes time, and results in an inconsistent finish, leading to a lower-quality product. Through our training, we will guide you on maintaining the slump effectively, eliminating the need for frequent interruptions.

We bet you’ve never seen a tight radius poured with a curb machine before, let alone one as tight as you see below!

Most foremen will tell you that it cannot be done because of past failures due to improper training and experience, and we’re here to tell you that it can be done, and a lot tighter than the manual will tell you!

THE MACHINE MAY DO A NICE JOB BUT BAD FINISHING TECHNIQUES WILL MAKE IT LOOK 10X WORSE

Just because they say they have been doing it for 25 years doesn’t mean it’s a high-quality finish! Depending on the location, a lot of the concrete finish specs get overlooked, but we’re here to make you stand out in the crowd, and not because your concrete finisher with 25 years of experience did crooked brooming or put contraction joints that are too deep or not straight!

Just because you can get away with it doesn’t mean it’s acceptable, and you’d be surprised to learn that it takes the exact same amount of time to do it properly than to do it fast and ugly.
